About this block

Verdict List puts the one word answer before the sentence. A left aligned heading and lede sit above a hairline divided list where every row opens with a Yes, No, or Depends badge, then a bold question and a single line of fine print. The lede promises the short answer up front, which the badges then have to honor.

The pairs are one array, each tagged with a verdict that maps to a badge variant, so Yes reads solid, No reads outline, and Depends reads muted. A footer line notes when the answers were last reviewed. Add or reorder rows and the divided list grows without any layout change, since there is no client behavior at all.

When to use

Reach for this block when buyers scan before they read and a wall of prose would slow them down. The verdict column lets someone confirm in one glance that yes there is a trial, no there is no setup fee, and that invoicing depends on the plan. It works especially well right after pricing, where the practical yes or no questions naturally cluster.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• Pricing so the yes or no answers land next to the plans

After

• Comparisons for readers who want the fuller side by side
• CTAs once the short answers have cleared the doubts

What you can display

One strong use is the trial, fees, cancellation, and billing set. Other lists:

• Security answers. SSO, data training, residency, and audit logs as clean verdicts.
• Policy answers. Refunds, contracts, discounts, and proration reduced to a word.
• Fit answers. Team size, use cases, and integrations sorted into yes, no, and depends.

Tip: reserve Depends for answers that genuinely turn on a plan or size, or the badge stops meaning anything.
