Preorder Hero opens a batch for reservation with the terms in plain sight, the price, a small refundable deposit, and a live counter of units left against the run of 400. The pitch sells the batch model itself, made in runs and sold out before shipping, so reserving means a real bag on the bench.

Beside it a production timeline shows exactly where the batch is, leather cut and done, stitching in progress, quality check and shipping still to come. Dates update weekly from the workshop and the last two batches back the estimate up.
