Engagement Comparison lays out three ways of working as table columns, fixed project, monthly retainer, and advisory, then compares them row by row so a prospect can scan the differences before reaching out. Rows cover who each suits, typical length, how the work runs, what you receive, pricing, and how the engagement ends, which turns the usual sales call into something a visitor can read at their own pace.
Rows are one typed array with a label and a value per column. The table scrolls horizontally inside an overflow wrapper on narrow screens, and the closing note under it is the distinctive detail, it invites anyone sitting between two columns to describe their situation rather than pick a lane blind.
Reach for this block as the how-we-work comparison on a services or about page when the practice offers genuinely different engagement shapes and wants the trade-offs stated plainly. The installer swaps the three column headings and the row values for their own models and keeps the labels honest.

One strong use is the project, retainer, advisory split for a senior freelance practice. Other comparison layouts:
Tip: keep each row value to one clean line so the whole column reads as a scannable list rather than a wall of prose.
