Timeline Project Card hangs the work off a vertical rail grouped by year. Each year is marked with a dot and a connecting line, and every project below it is a compact linked row: a square Placeholder thumbnail, the project name with an ArrowUpRight icon, the role, and a one-line outcome. It runs newest first, from Ledger in 2025 down through Tend and Field Notes in 2024 to Atlas in 2023.
Years are an array of groups, each holding its own array of projects. The chronological rail is the distinctive choice: it reads as a career narrative, showing not just what was built but the order it was built in and how the work grew.
Reach for this block on an about or work page when the sequence of the work is part of the story, a track record rather than a flat grid. The installer swaps the years, projects, roles, and outcomes for their own history and points each row at the right case study.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:
Before
After
One strong use is the chronological work history for a mid-career designer. Other uses:
Tip: keep one to three rows per year so the rail stays readable; a year crowded with entries reads as a list and loses the shape of the timeline.
