Newsletter Author Note fronts the subscription with the person who writes it. The left column holds the heading, a line on who writes the email, the subscribe form, and a small print line on cadence and unsubscribe. The other column is a letter style card carrying a short note from the writer and an avatar signature with a name and issue range.
The note is two short paragraphs of static copy and the signature uses the shared portrait set inside a ringed card. The form is the ui Input and Button pair. The note earns its place when it sounds like one person talking, so keep it plain and leave the misses in.
Reach for this block when the writer is the draw and a personal voice sells the list better than a feature list would. It leads with a person where newsletter-split-with-perks leads with contents, which suits a solo author or a named columnist with a following.
