Featured Post With List opens with a header row that pairs the headline with a "View all posts" arrow link, then splits the section in two. The left column carries one large featured post: a placeholder cover in a rounded frame, a category badge, the title, a two line excerpt, and an illustrated author byline with the date. The right column stacks three compact posts, each with a small thumbnail, a category label, a one line title, and a date, separated by hairlines.
The compact rows stretch to match the featured column, so the split stays balanced at any viewport. Covers use the shared placeholder illustration and the byline uses an inline avatar, so nothing depends on external image files. The featured post and the stack are plain data objects, so you can swap posts, add a row, or retitle the section without touching the layout.
Reach for this block when one post deserves more attention than the rest. On a developer tools landing page it lets you pin a flagship engineering deep dive in the featured slot while the compact stack keeps the cadence of recent releases and customer stories visible, giving a technical visitor both depth and momentum in a single glance. It sits naturally low on the page, once the product story has been told.
A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

The obvious fit is a flagship post beside your three freshest ones. A few other ways to use the frame:
Tip: keep the featured excerpt to two lines and the compact titles to one, so the stretch that balances the two columns never has to fight overflowing copy.
