App Defaults is a rapid fire list where every job on the machine gets exactly one answer. Twenty categories split across two ruled columns, from Mail and Notes to Search and Bookmarks, each row pairing a plain category label with the single app that currently wins it. A small dot marks any default that changed in the past year.
Columns is an array of two entry lists, and each entry carries a category, an app, and an optional changed flag. The distinctive choice is the one answer rule, no runners up and no honourable mentions, just the app that holds the slot today.
Reach for this block on a /uses page or an about page when you want the setup to read fast, as a scannable index rather than a review. The installer swaps every category and app for their own, and flips the changed flag on anything they moved to recently.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

One strong use is the twenty row, two column defaults index. Other app defaults layouts:
Tip: the changed dot is what keeps this honest, mark only what actually moved this year and readers will trust the rest of the list.
