Process Steps Hero opens with a first person introduction rather than a portfolio. Avery sets the frame, product designer for early stage SaaS teams, and a lede that promises a deliberately simple process, then two actions. A numbered three step strip runs below, walking an engagement from a free intro call, through two week focused sprints, to a clean handover with two weeks of follow up support.
Steps are one array in a ruled three column strip. Leading with how the work runs, rather than samples of it, is the distinctive choice, it answers the question a nervous first time buyer actually has before they write in.
Reach for this block when the buyer is new to hiring a freelancer and reassurance matters more than range. The installer rewrites the intro and lede, then replaces each of the three steps with their own stage names, descriptions, and the short meta line beneath each.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

Tip: give each step a short meta line like free, 30 minutes; the specifics are what turn a generic process into a credible promise.
