Career Timeline is a reverse-chronological list of four engineering roles rendered as ruled rows. Each row splits into a left column holding the period and a short tenure length, and a right column with the role title, company, a first person summary, one shipped highlight, and a row of stack tags. The highlight sits behind an inverted badge reading Shipped, so the one thing worth remembering from each seat stands out from the surrounding summary.
Roles is a typed array of objects, each with period, length, title, company, summary, shipped, and stack fields. The rows are separated with divide-y rather than cards, which keeps a long history readable without turning the section into a wall of boxes. The stack tags reuse the muted chip treatment so they read as metadata, not links.
Reach for this block on a developer portfolio when the work history itself is a selling point and a flat resume list would bury it. The installer replaces the four role objects with their own history, keeping the shipped field to one concrete outcome per seat rather than a duty list.

One strong use is the eight-year engineering history. Other timeline layouts:
Tip: keep the shipped line to one measurable outcome; a highlight that lists three things reads as a summary, not a headline.
