About this block

Research Decisions is an evidence-to-decision ledger: three ruled rows that each pair a real research quote, attributed to a participant and session, with the exact design change it drove and the measured result after shipping. A finance lead who never trusts the totals leads to expandable records; a red badge that scares nobody leads to tiered alerts and a 58 percent drop in blind dismissals.

The three decisions are one typed array laid out as a two-column grid: the quote on the left, what changed and what happened on the right. The result line is the payoff, tying each design call back to a number so the section reads as accountability rather than anecdote.

When to use

Reach for this block on a case study or a UX portfolio to show a practice where user evidence, not taste, settles the big calls. The installer swaps the three quotes, the participant labels, the change paragraphs, and the result line per row.

A natural flow around it on a Portfolio Pro page:

• Process sections

After

• Case study sections
• Stats sections

What you can display

One strong use is the quote-to-change-to-result ledger. Other evidence layouts:

• Survey findings. A stat pulled from a survey, the change it prompted, and the follow-up read.
• Support themes. A recurring ticket, the fix shipped, and the ticket volume after.
• Analytics signals. A funnel drop, the redesign it triggered, and the recovered conversion.

Tip: the result line is the credibility, a change with no measured outcome reads as a hunch that got lucky.
