About this block

Commitments Timeline puts every public impact promise on a vertical rail with the year it was made and a status badge that tells the truth, Kept, Kept late, or In progress. The late entry stays late, the in progress entry names the gap, 81% with one region unsolved, and the footnote rules out quiet deletion.

Entries are one array. The rail is a div dot and a border line, filled dots for kept promises, a hollow dot for the open one.

When to use

Reach for this block on impact and about pages where the company has a track record worth dating. Timelines convert skeptics because a promise with a year attached can be checked, and one marked late proves the others were not rounded up.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• About sections for the company story the promises grew out of

After

• Impact report numbers for this year's figures behind each line
• Carbon stats expanding the in progress climate entry

What you can display

One strong use is your real promise history with honest badges. Other timelines:

• Security posture. Audits, certifications, and disclosure policy by year.
• Accessibility. WCAG milestones reached and the ones still open.
• Pricing promises. Grandfathering and no lock in commitments with dates.

Tip: the Kept late badge is the most persuasive one on the page, keep at least one imperfect entry if you have it.
