About this block

Dark Solid is a full site footer rendered on a solid primary background. The upper section is a six column grid: the first two columns hold a brand name link, a short blurb about the product, and a row of social icon links. The remaining four columns are link groups titled Product, Company, Resources, and Legal, each with four items. A thin dividing line below the grid carries a copyright notice on the left and a short tagline on the right.

Every piece of copy in the block is independent. You can swap the brand name, rewrite the blurb, change the social icon set, rename any column heading, and add or remove link items without affecting the layout. The bottom bar text is also plain copy so you can replace the tagline with a second legal line or remove it entirely.

When to use

Reach for this block when a brand needs its footer to feel like an owned surface rather than an afterthought. The solid background color makes it read as a distinct brand moment at the bottom of the page, which suits an ecommerce storefront that wants to reinforce its identity after the browsing experience ends. It is better suited to that role than a light or borderless footer because the contrast cleanly signals that the page has ended and the brand is still present.

A natural flow around it on a Marketing Pro page:

Before

• A CTA section to give visitors a final conversion prompt before they reach the footer
• A Testimonials section to close the main content on a note of social proof

After

• Nothing. This block sits at the very bottom of the page.

What you can customize

The four link columns cover the standard site structure. A few other ways to configure this block for your storefront:

• Brand column. Replace the blurb with a short promise or return policy summary, and swap the social icons for the platforms your customers actually use.
• Link columns. Rename or reorder the four column groups to match your own information architecture, such as splitting a Shop column out from the Product group.
• Bottom bar. Swap the right hand tagline for a second copyright line, a legal jurisdiction note, or a link to your accessibility statement.

Tip: keep the blurb to two or three lines so the brand column stays the same height as the tallest link column and the grid stays balanced.
