Rating Trend Chart plots the average review score across eight quarters as a line against the category average, with the one visible dip left on the chart rather than smoothed away. A three stat summary row beneath reads the direction a single average hides, the score today, the change over two years, and the quarters spent above the category.
The chart is built on the shadcn chart primitives, so swapping in your real quarterly scores is a short data edit. The footnote names the weighting method and the source of the category line.
Reach for this block on reviews and awards pages where the story is momentum, not a single number. Quarters and scores here are placeholders for your real series. It follows the scores band, turning a headline average into a direction.

Tip: leaving the dip in is the move, a line that only climbs reads as a chart you drew, one with a bad quarter reads as one you measured.
