About this block

Price Drop Alerts List shows four watched items as ruled rows, saved price struck through against the current price for the one real drop, and the unchanged rows captioned honestly: “This price has not moved in 14 months, it likely will not.” The footer names the policy: one email per real drop, and a price that bounced back within the week never counted as one.

Items are one array, prices always tabular-nums. The 14 month caption is the block the design earns nothing from, which is why it converts.

When to use

Reach for this block as the price watch view inside account sections. The comparison must use the price at the time of saving, not a price from last week, or the math is invented.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Wishlist grid page

After

• Restock section

What you can display

One strong use is the four item price watch with one confirmed drop. Other price alert lists:

• All dropped. A view filtered to items that fell since saving, the email lands and this is the click through.
• Seasonal sale. Items that dropped during a sitewide event, with the event named in the caption.
• Back in range. Items that rose, then returned to near the saved price.

Tip: “we do not invent drops to wake the list up” is the sentence that makes every future alert credible, publish the policy where the alerts are managed.
