About this block

Cross Sell Banner recommends one product to owners of another with the relationship stated, you own the Weekender, this is its other half, and a craft detail that makes the pairing material rather than merchandising, cut from the same hide batch so the leather ages in step. One product, one banner, no carousel.

The ownership framing assumes a signed in owner or a post purchase page, adjust the copy for cold traffic.

When to use

Reach for this block on order confirmation pages, account dashboards, and owner email landing pages, the contexts where you own X is true. It is the politest high performing cross sell placement in commerce.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Order tracking or account content

After

• Product overview of the companion
• Cart

What you can display

One strong use is the companion product for your bestseller's owners. Other banners:

• The consumable. You own the machine, the beans subscription is its other half.
• The upgrade. The larger size for owners who maxed the smaller one.
• The second color. For products people genuinely buy twice.

Tip: usually after the second trip is behavioral data as poetry, the line tells owners when they will want it, which is better than asking them to want it now.
