About this block

Repair Vs Replace Footprint sets one zipper repair against one replacement bag in plain ratios, not invented kilograms: stuff moved on the repair side is one slider set and a padded envelope, stuff moved on the replacement side is the full supply chain from mill to dock. The 2% stat card below the two panels states the ratio directly, and the method note closes it: parts and shipping legs from our own logs, arithmetic not a certified life cycle assessment, and we say exactly that.

Paths are one array, each with a title, a subtitle, a bullet list of items, and a total line. The method note is what lets the 2% figure stand without a third party endorsement.

When to use

Reach for this block inside the sustainability section alongside the honest unknowns card or above the repair service entry. The shipping leg counts must come from real dispatch records to be repeatable.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Honest unknowns card

After

• Durability pledge card
• Repair service intro

What you can display

One strong use is the zipper repair against a new bag for a maker with bench records. Other comparisons:

• Resoling versus new shoes. Parts and legs counted the same way.
• Refill against new bottle. Weight of stuff moved per fill cycle.
• Parts replacement on furniture. One leg against a new chair, the same arithmetic.

Tip: "We do not know the grams of carbon and will not invent them" earns credibility for the 2% figure by naming exactly what was not claimed.
