About this block

Honest Unknowns Card publishes the three things on the sustainability page most brands omit entirely: the full carbon number not measured because the $30,000 audit budget was spent on the repair bench instead, and that trade is stated here on purpose, the microplastic shed from thread with the seam by seam plan to move to cotton, and end of life for the 4% the bench cannot save, said plainly as landfill. Each entry carries the plan, or the honest none.

Unknowns are one array with a title, a status, and a plan. The $30,000 trade stated on purpose is the block the rest of the page earns the right to exist beside.

When to use

Reach for this block immediately after the materials footprint table while the sourcing honesty is still in view. Every row must reflect current operations: the 4% landfill line gets fact checked by anyone who works at the bench.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Materials footprint table

After

• Repair vs replace footprint
• Durability pledge card

What you can display

One strong use is the three open questions for a goods maker with an honest sustainability program. Other unknowns lists:

• Packaging unknowns. Compostability at scale, recycling rates at the destination, the honest none.
• Supply chain unknowns. Tiers three and four for a brand still mapping them.
• Single unknown spotlight. One item expanded with the full research trail and the plan timeline.

Tip: "Pretending the list is empty is not" lands because it names the genre default by implication without needing to call another brand out by name.
