About this block

Trade Portal Navbar is the logged in B2B header, Acme Trade lockup, order pad navigation, and an account band carrying the four facts a trade buyer checks before ordering, the discount tier, the rep with her response time, Net 30 in good standing, and the Friday 2pm shipping cutoff. The cart badge counts units, not items, because trade orders are counted that way.

Account facts are one array. Surfacing terms standing in the header saves the call that starts can I still order.

When to use

Reach for this block as the header for a trade program portal. The band's facts are per account, wire them to the account API, a stale credit state is worse than none.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Nothing, navbars open the page

After

• Volume pricing table
• Account sections

What you can display

One strong use is the standing trade header. Other portal navbars:

• Credit hold state. The same band with the honest blocked message and the fix.
• Multi location. A location switcher for fleet accounts ordering per site.
• Rep impersonation. The internal view reps see, clearly bannered.

Tip: replies same day next to the rep's name sets the service level where the buyer can see it, unanswerable reps are the top trade program complaint.
