About this block

Checkout Header Lock strips the header for the payment flow, the wordmark, the lock line with the data fact, card numbers never touch our servers, and exactly one exit, back to cart. No navigation by design, every link removed from checkout is a completed order somewhere.

Pure markup. The security line repeats the payment form panel's promise at the place eyes go first.

When to use

Reach for this block as the header for every checkout stage, swapped in when the flow begins. The back to cart link is the single permitted door, removing it too reads as a trap and increases abandonment.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Nothing, this header opens checkout pages

After

• Any checkout stage
• Order confirmation where the full header returns

What you can display

One strong use is the three element checkout header. Other variants:

• With progress. The stepper folded into the header for multi page flows.
• With support. A help link that opens chat without leaving the flow.
• With timer. For reserved inventory, the hold countdown stated calmly.

Tip: the full navigation returning on the confirmation page is part of the pattern, the store reopens exactly when wandering becomes harmless again.
