About this block

Tolerances Note Card explains in three short ruled sections why the bag is not exactly 42 cm: what varies and why, what never varies, and the promise. The promise section is the close: "If a variance bothers you, it is a return. No debate, no photographing the bag against a ruler, the standard 60 days apply and the label is free." The heading names the tension directly: "Why your bag is not exactly 42 cm."

Three notes in one array, each a title and a paragraph. Tolerance honesty only earns trust when the return promise has no friction attached to it.

When to use

Reach for this block immediately after the full spec sheet to explain the tolerance column there rather than leaving buyers to wonder whether a variation is a defect. It works as a standalone card on the product FAQ section.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Full spec sheet

After

• Returns policy
• Pricing transparency

What you can display

One strong use is the handmade canvas three note card. Other tolerance notes:

• Dye lot variance. The shade varies note for natural dye batches, with the swatch caveat.
• Wood grain variance. Natural material variation for furniture, grain patterns as a feature not a flaw.
• Food weight variance. The plus or minus on a net weight claim with the regulatory basis cited.

Tip: "the tolerance lives in the cloth and never reaches the metal or the promise" separates acceptable variation from defect better than any policy table can.
