About this block

Measure Yourself Guide draws a figure with three lettered measurement lines, chest, waist, and arm, each with the tape instruction and the no tape fallback in italics, a shirt that fits measured flat, a belt buckle to the hole you use. The fallbacks acknowledge reality, most homes have a wardrobe and no tape measure.

The figure is one inline SVG with token strokes, the body companion to the garment diagram.

When to use

Reach for this block on the size guide page when body measurements genuinely matter, tailored cuts, fitted garments. For relaxed cuts, the garment chart method alone is less error prone.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Size chart table the measurements feed into

After

• Size recommender using the numbers
• Fit notes panel

What you can display

One strong use is the three measurement basics. Other guides:

• Inseam guide. The trouser version with its best trousers fallback.
• Head guide. For caps, the string and ruler trick.
• Hand guide. Glove sizing with the printable outline.

Tip: the no tape fallback per measurement halves the abandonment of measuring guides, meet the wardrobe where it is.
