About this block

Gift Options Cart makes gifting a working interaction, the checkbox toggles a message field with real state, and the copy answers the three gifting fears inline, the wrap is paper, the wrapping is free because charging for it is bleak, and prices never print on gift receipts. The card character limit and the handwriting joke keep the form human.

A client block on ui checkbox and textarea primitives, the toggle defaults on so the preview shows the full state.

When to use

Reach for this block in gifting categories and seasons, stores with monogramming, leather goods, anything bought for other people. The free wrapping line should be true, it is remembered longer than the product.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Product overview with the personalization the line item shows

After

• Checkout with a gift receipt option carried through
• Order tracking that hides prices for gift orders too

What you can display

One strong use is the gift toggle with a message field. Other options:

• Ship to recipient. A second address path inside the gift state.
• Date targeting. Arrive the week of the birthday, not three weeks early.
• Digital gifting. The version for gift cards and downloads.

Tip: prices never appear on gift receipts is the single most reassuring sentence in gifting commerce, say it at the toggle, not in the FAQ.
