About this block

Cart With Order Notes adds the free text field to the warehouse with the label that changes its usage, a note for the humans packing this, and a helper line that proves readership with honored examples, no tissue paper, double boxing, and the small boat that got drawn.

The boat story is the block, order notes fields are universally ignored because customers assume nobody reads them, the examples reverse the assumption.

When to use

Reach for this block on stores where the warehouse is actually yours and notes genuinely get read. Never ship the field on a 3PL pipeline that drops it, an ignored promise here is worse than no field.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Product overviews

After

• Checkout carrying the note through
• Order tracking

What you can display

One strong use is the packer note with honored examples. Other notes:

• Courier note. The delivery instructions version, which the address book also stores.
• Gift note. Routed to the card writer instead of the packer.
• Workshop note. For made to order, a note to the maker, answered if it asks something.

Tip: refresh the honored examples quarterly, the field earns usage in proportion to the recency of its proof.
