About this block

Cart Stock Warnings annotates line items with real inventory state, the 3 left item carries the disclaimer that carts do not reserve stock, and the sold out Roll Top is dimmed with its July 8 batch date and a one tap restock email. The checkout button is precise about what it charges, checkout the 2 available.

Items are one array with warning and availability fields. Delivering stock news in the cart beats delivering it at payment, the trust cost is lower earlier.

When to use

Reach for this block when inventory is genuinely tight and oversells happen. The does not reserve stock line sets the rule once, fairly, instead of surprising buyers at the worst moment.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Product overview

After

• Checkout
• Restock alerts

What you can display

One strong use is the mixed availability cart. Other warning carts:

• Price change notice. An item repriced since it was added, both prices shown.
• Preorder mix. In stock and preorder items with the split shipment explained.
• Expiring cart. Sample sale stock with a real hold window, stated in minutes.

Tip: one email, not a campaign is the opt in promise that gets the click, restock alerts die when they turn into newsletters.
