About this block

Most Helpful Pair puts the top voted positive and critical reviews side by side with their helpfulness counts, and the lede takes the position that defines this collection's review philosophy, read both, they are both right. The critical review is a real one, the weight complaint with its constructive routing toward the smaller model.

Reviews are one array of two. The helpful votes are the selection mechanism, the crowd curates, the store just formats.

When to use

Reach for this block on product pages above the full review list, the two reads for the buyer with three minutes. It requires helpfulness voting in your review system.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Rating summary

After

• Review list
• Comparison tables if the critical review routes to a sibling product

What you can display

One strong use is the voted pair per product. Other pairs:

• Long and short ownership. Week one beside year three.
• Two use cases. The commuter review beside the traveler review.
• Before and after repair. The complaint and its resolution as a pair.

Tip: a critical review that routes to another of your products, try the smaller one, is the most profitable sentence a store never wrote.
