About this block

Critical Reviews Page collects every review under four stars in one honest listing, newest first, with the count printed plainly at the top: 412 of 12,400 published reviews. Each entry carries the store reply attached below the buyer text. The lede names the reason the page exists: “Reading the worst of us is the fastest way to know whether our failures are ones you can live with.” Nothing is edited or removed after a fix, and the thread staying up is stated as the point.

Reviews are one array. The reply thread is part of each entry, and the responder byline names the person and their role, which is what separates a response from a template.

When to use

Reach for this block as the footer-linked critical reviews destination, beneath any reviews listing that shows only the polished average. The count in the header must be kept current or the honesty collapses.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

What you can display

One strong use is the three newest critical entries with replies. Other critical listings:

• One star only. The single star subset for buyers who want only the hardest feedback.
• By category. Critical reviews filtered to a product line, linked from that category page.
• Resolved thread. Reviews where the reply records the fix shipped, the most persuasive version.

Tip: the responder byline naming the actual person (Nadia, design; Ed, repairs) is what stops the reply reading as customer service boilerplate.
