Refund Timeline Explainer maps the four stages of a refund with who holds the money at each, the scan trigger at day 0, the automatic instruction within hours, the honest blame assignment for the slow part, that is the bank, not us, and the statement detail support teams repeat daily, sometimes a reversal rather than a new line, check both. Stages are one array. The whole block exists to answer where is my refund before it becomes a ticket.
Reach for this block on the returns center and linked from the refund confirmation email. The day counts must match your processor's actual behavior.
