About this block

Exchange Instead Panel makes the swap offer mid return on the honest speed argument, the exchange ships at the courier scan and beats the refund and reorder loop by about a week, this is convenience, not a trap. Three alternatives show with real stock notes including the 48 hour hold, and the refund exit keeps full size with the footnote explaining why, if the swap does not suit you, take the money.

Alternatives are one array. Exchange offers convert when the refund path is visibly respected, dark patterns here poison the whole returns center.

When to use

Reach for this block inside the return flow after item selection, only when genuine alternatives are in stock. An empty alternatives list should skip the panel entirely.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Start return flow

After

• Return label steps

What you can display

One strong use is the size and colorway swap. Other exchange panels:

• Different product. Store credit toward anything, the wider swap.
• Repair offer. For damage returns, the bench as the third option.
• Price difference handling. The swap up or down with the delta shown.

Tip: the refund button stays this size on purpose is the panel auditing itself in public, name the dark pattern you are refusing.
