Notify Me Inline Row handles the sold out state with two honest variants beside each other: "Next batch lands July 8. The date is from the production sheet, not a guess," and "No date yet. The next batch depends on the canvas mill, and we will not invent a date." Each row carries a product thumb, the name with a sold out label inline, the note, and an email field plus notify button. The footer gives the queue mechanic: "Alerts send in request order, first come, no skipping the queue."
Products are one array. The two note variants, date known and date unknown, are the whole argument for honesty over manufactured urgency.
Reach for this block on any product page where a variant is out of stock, placed directly below the add to cart area in the product overview. The known batch date must come from a production sheet, not an estimate padded for comfort.
