About this block

New Versus Used Compare puts the same product on two cards, the new unit and a graded trade in of the exact model, so the choice is made in the open. Each card carries an image, a price with its reference, four condition rows, and its own buy button.

The two options are one array, highlighted flag and grade disc included. Nothing here argues that used is the smart pick or new is the safe one, both are for sale, and the copy stays even on purpose.

When to use

Reach for this block where a shopper is deciding between a fresh unit and a resale one, on a product page that stocks both or on the resale landing. Showing the tradeoffs side by side is what earns the used sale without knocking the new one.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Trade in estimator

After

• Secondhand grid
• Resale grading scale

What you can display

One strong use is the same model in two conditions. Other pairings:

• Refurbished versus new. The open box unit against the current one, warranty differences spelled out.
• This size versus that. Two variants weighed on fit and price rather than condition.
• Bundle versus single. The pair discount set beside one unit at full price.

Tip: keep both columns the same height, four rows each, so neither option looks like the afterthought.
