About this block

With Monogram Options is a client product overview for the Canvas Weekender at $185 plus a $12 monogram fee. A three character Input enforces uppercase letters only, two placement chips toggle between inside collar and outside corner with their honest notes, and then the gate is stated before the button in plain text: a monogrammed bag cannot be returned, only repaired. The add to cart button reads “Add monogrammed, no returns” when letters are entered, removing any ambiguity. A footer line explains the bench stitches it, not a machine, allow 3 extra days.

Placements are one array with useState. The return gate stated before the button, not in fine print after, is the block’s credibility mechanism.

When to use

Reach for this block as the product page for any made-to-order or personalised item where the return policy changes at the point of customisation. Wire the letter input and placement state to your order system before going live.

What you can display

One strong use is the monogram gate with the button copy change. Other personalised overviews:

• Embossed initials. Leather goods with the tooling time quoted honestly.
• Custom length. Belt or strap cut to order, the trim note replacing the return gate.
• Name patch. A removable option where the gate does not apply, the contrast made explicit.

Tip: changing the button label to “Add monogrammed, no returns” makes the policy impossible to miss, which is the point, not the warning box alone.
