Winterizing Checklist runs five steps with minute estimates under the heading "The October ritual." Seams are first because they fail first, the zipper gets wax not oil with the reason given, corners are photographed now because the October queue is days and the January queue is weeks. The fifth row is the honest alternative: "book the $12 bench wax, if you know you will not do this yourself, that is fine, most people will not."
Steps are one array with title, note, and time. The minute estimates are the detail that makes it feel real rather than aspirational.
Reach for this block on the product care section of the site, beneath the general care guide. The $12 bench wax option must link to the live service if that booking is available online.

One strong use is the five step October waxed canvas ritual. Other seasonal checklists:
Tip: the fifth step naming the paid bench service without apology converts better than hiding it, knowing yourself is the framing that removes the shame from choosing not to do it.
