Payment Security Explainer replaces padlock theater with three plain numbered rows: the card number travels from the browser to the payment processor directly and never crosses the store servers, the store holds only the last 4 digits and expiry month so the buyer can recognize the card, and what a breach of the store could not leak is the card number itself, by architecture. The block closes with a redirect to the privacy page for everything else, written in this same register.
Rows are one array. The architecture sentence in the third row is the whole block: “You cannot lose what you never held, and we never held it.”
Reach for this block on the checkout page below the payment step, or on a dedicated trust page beside the accepted methods row. The payment processor must not be named as a specific brand in the copy if the integration might change.
A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Tip: no padlock icons, no badge images is the positioning move; three rows on where your number actually goes says more than the clip art ever did.
