About this block

Weather Delay Notice names the storm, the provinces affected, the date the courier grounded the vans, and the new delivery date, then closes with: “We do not apologize for weather, we just tell you early. You are reading this before the doorbell had a chance to not ring.” Three fact rows cover the parcel location (held dry at the Groningen depot, not on a van), the new date of Monday June 15, and a what you need to do row that answers nothing, no rebooking, no buttons, the page already knows.

Facts are one array of three rows. The no apology footer and the grounded vans rationale are the content; the delay notice without them is indistinct.

When to use

Reach for this block as a card on the tracking page for any order in the affected region, surfaced automatically from a courier service notice inside the order tracking flow. Region and date must come from the real courier advisory, not from a template guess.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• International tracking view

After

• Pickup ready status
• Contact routes

What you can display

One strong use is the storm pause with no action needed. Other delay notices:

• Strike notice. The industrial action variant with a wider date range and the reason published.
• Customs backlog. For the import queue delay with the historical clearance range shown.
• Carrier outage. A system failure with a shorter window and no location specific copy.

Tip: the line about the driver in gusts past 100 km/h is the courier reasoning made visible; the block earns its keep only when the real reason is published.
