About this block

Late Order Compensation Card publishes the automatic shipping refund mechanism: a nightly job diffs promised dates against courier scans, and when the miss is ours, the refund does not wait for a complaint, the apology email usually lands before the box does. The courier fault version states the boundary cleanly: that earns help, not compensation. A four-row fault table covers the four situations, honest and short, including storm, strike, or closed roads filed under nobody.

Cases are one array of two, faults a second array of four. The nightly job detail gives the automatic promise a mechanism, which is what makes it believable.

When to use

Reach for this block on the shipping policy or order status pages. The automatic refund claim requires the nightly job to actually run or the policy is fiction.

What you can display

One strong use is the three-party fault table. Other compensation configurations:

• Express guarantee. Same structure for next-day orders with a tighter refund window.
• International. Customs delays added as a fourth party alongside nobody.
• Click and collect. The ready notice version with store-fault versus courier-fault replaced by the store-side timing rules.

Tip: naming the fault honestly, including nobody, is what separates this from boilerplate; customers can verify the table against their own experience.
