About this block

Membership Landing Hero opens the paid program with the anti pitch, a calculator, not a club, and the breakeven stated against the buyer, spend under $290 a year, do not join. Three fact tiles carry the price, the rate, and the breakeven, and the refund mechanics close the fold, unused months refund themselves pro rata.

Facts are one array. Advising against joining is the only credible way to sell a paid membership in 2026.

When to use

Reach for this block as the membership page hero. The do the math button routes to the math explainer, the program's honest spreadsheet.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Nothing, heroes open the page

After

• Membership math explainer
• Benefits table

What you can display

One strong use is the paid tier with its breakeven. Other heroes:

• Free tier hero. The earned regulars list, the unpaid sibling.
• Founding member hero. The launch window version with its closing date.
• Gift membership. The program as a present, with the recipient math.

Tip: do not join with the number attached converts better than any benefits list, the members it filters in never churn.
