About this block

Editorial Spread Split is one magazine page as a section, a large portrait frame beside written styling notes that argue rather than describe, the cap is the thermostat, and an itemized in this spread list with prices closing the column. The spread number in mono keys it to a sequence.

The right column carries real content depth per the balance rule, prose plus the piece list against the tall image.

When to use

Reach for this block repeated two or three times as the body of an editorial lookbook page, alternating image sides between spreads. The writing is the point, ship it only with copy worth the layout.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Seasonal gallery as the overview this spread deepens

After

• Another spread, mirrored
• Complete the look for the transactional version

What you can display

One strong use is the styling argument per look. Other spreads:

• Material spread. The leather close up with its care argument.
• Place spread. The city the season was shot in, with the pieces that survived it.
• Person spread. One wearer, their three pieces, their words.

Tip: styling notes that argue, roomy precisely for this, convert better than notes that describe, the reader wants reasons to layer, not captions.
