Holiday Returns Extension states the gift window in dates, purchases from November 1 return through January 31, automatic on every order, with the reasoning led by empathy, a 60 day clock that expires before the gift is opened. A two row table resolves every edge case by purchase date, and the unchanged list covers condition rules, the credit versus refund split, and free return shipping.
Windows and unchanged are two arrays. The gift credit goes to the recipient, the refund to the buyer, the one rule every gift return conversation needs.
