About this block

Category Sold Out State faces the empty aisle directly, knitwear is sold out, all of it, then converts the emptiness into schedule, each item with its return month and batch size, and one watch capture under the usual deletion terms. The batch went in five weeks is the only scarcity flex, and it is bookkeeping.

Returning items are one array. The list gets 48 hours before this page does makes the empty state itself recruit for the list.

When to use

Reach for this block when batch production genuinely empties categories. It turns the worst category page state into the strongest list growth surface the store has.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Category navigation landing on the empty aisle

After

• Drop calendar for the full schedule
• Product grids of the aisles still stocked

What you can display

One strong use is the seasonal sellout. Other states:

• Partial sellout. Most sizes gone, the remnant grid with the restock table below.
• Retired category. Gone for good, said plainly, with the secondhand shelf linked.
• Pre launch category. The aisle that does not exist yet, dated.

Tip: sold out, all of it as a headline owns the situation, empty categories dressed as full ones with out of stock badges everywhere read worse.
