Material Comparison Table judges waxed canvas, bridle leather, and recycled nylon row by row across weight, rain, aging, repairability at the bench, and price band. The check mark moves: canvas wins two rows, nylon wins two, leather takes the one people buy it for. The verdict row says it plainly: “There is no winner, there is your use case,” and links the material finder.
The data is two arrays: the material headers and the rows, each with a wins index so the check lands in the right column. Letting a different material win every row is what makes the table honest rather than promotional.
Reach for this block on material or fabric guide pages, adjacent to the product finder or under a product overview. The win index in each row must stay accurate as materials change; a stale check is worse than no check.

Tip: the footer line “Every cell above is the same answer support gives by email” frames the table as saved labor on both sides, which is true.
