About this block

Collection List Rows presents capsules as an editorial index, ruled rows with the collection name at headline weight, one written sentence, and a piece count, no imagery by intent. The sentences carry jobs, survive a bike lane winter, tested on actual five day trips, which is what separates an edit from a tag.

Collections are one array. The format flatters stores whose collection names are good, which is the real prerequisite.

When to use

Reach for this block on stores with an editorial register where curated edits are a navigation layer above categories. It contrasts well directly after an image heavy tiles grid, text after pictures reads as confidence.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Category tiles for the standard aisles first

After

• Editorial grid opening whichever edit wins the click
• Newsletter style incentives

What you can display

One strong use is five capsules with jobs in their sentences. Other indexes:

• By trip. Weekend, week, month as packing edits.
• By weather. Rain, heat, and the in between.
• Collabs index. Past collaborations as an archive list.

Tip: write the sentence before creating the edit, a collection that cannot earn one sentence is a filter, not an edit.
