About this block

Honest Alternatives Guide lays out four jobs the store loses at, each in its own card naming the winner and the reason, no asterisks. The wheeled luggage card is the most direct: "We do not make it and never will." The budget card names the lookalike by price, "sincerely," and tells the reader to come back later rather than stretch now. A ruled footer closes the block: "What is left is what we are for: daily carry that outlives the decade."

Jobs are one array, rendered in a two column card grid. The footer card sits outside the grid as a standalone closing statement.

When to use

Reach for this block after the disqualifier list on a buying advice page, before the pre purchase checklist. Each winner named must be a genuine category leader or the honesty reads as false modesty.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Do not buy from us

After

• Pre purchase checklist
• Decade math card

What you can display

One strong use is the four job losses. Other alternatives guides:

• Software integrations. The tools the platform does not beat and where to use them instead.
• Size category gaps. Redirects for sizes the brand does not make, with the right specialist named.
• Specialist wins. A general store naming the vertical brands it defers to by category.

Tip: the budget card naming the $90 lookalike "sincerely" converts more than any discount would, because it proves the other recommendations are real.
