About this block

Workshop Photo Essay puts six frames of the actual room in a 3x2 grid, each with a caption that does the storytelling. The loud machine nobody can name by its plate, the wall of patterns from 2015 still holding the bags that were killed, the box of failed prototypes kept on purpose. The lede is direct: "Six frames, photographed honestly on a working Wednesday. No posed people, no cleaned bench, just the room as it actually runs."

Frames are one array, each carrying the caption only. The essay does not require people; the room is the subject, wax stains included.

When to use

Reach for this block on the about or story page, after the founding paragraph and before the repair service detail. The captions carry the voice, so they must describe the real shop, not a staged version.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Brand story hero

After

• Repair service detail
• Social proof

What you can display

One strong use is the six workshop frames. Other photo essay arrangements:

• Four frame grid. Two rows of two, for a tighter about section.
• Process sequence. Frames ordered as steps in a single repair, captioned with the technique.
• Seasonal studio. The workshop in four seasons, caption noting what changes and what never does.

Tip: "the box of failed prototypes we keep on purpose" is the caption that earns trust because it names the cost and the reason in one clause, and the reader believes the rest of the grid.
