About this block

Why We Exist Prose is the manifesto with the thesis at display weight, the industry is a subscription you never signed up for, followed by three paragraphs that argue it with a number, the 2.6 year replacement cycle, and a position, boring is what durable looks like from the inside. No imagery, the conviction is the visual.

Pure prose, edit it whole rather than templating it. The display sentence must survive being the only thing anyone reads.

When to use

Reach for this block at the top of the brand story page or as a standalone manifesto section on the home page of a position led brand. One manifesto per site, conviction dilutes by repetition.

A natural flow around it on an Ecommerce Pro page:

Before

• Nothing, or a minimal hero

After

• Founder letter for the personal version
• Made in numbers for the receipts

What you can display

One strong use is the industry critique with your answer. Other manifestos:

• The pricing position. Why you cost more, argued rather than apologized.
• The pace position. Why two collections a year, not twelve.
• The repair position. Why fixing beats recycling, with the bench to prove it.

Tip: a manifesto needs one number and one enemy, the 2.6 year cycle is both, abstractions convert nobody.
