Announcement with Details is a two row band: the headline band ("Prices change on July 1. Here is the letter, and the three facts that matter.") with a chevron showing the expanded state, and a static open details row below it with three named facts and a link to read the full letter. The facts name the scope ("Leather goods only, 14 of 62 products"), the amount ("$5 to $15 per item"), and the record ("The price history table on every product page is updated the same day, old prices kept").

Facts are one array. The pattern exists for announcements that one line cannot contain honestly without truncating the information buyers need to make sense of it.

When to use

Reach for this block above the store navbar for site wide announcements that have facts worth reading, not just a link. The price history mention requires that the history table is actually updated on the named date.

What you can display

One strong use is the price change letter with three supporting facts. Other expandable announcements:

• Policy update. The changed clause, what it replaces, effective date, the reasoning in one sentence.
• New collection. The launch date, the size of the drop, the waitlist link in the facts row.
• Recall notice. The affected batch codes, the replacement process, the contact route.

Tip: three facts is the practical ceiling for a static details row; more than three belong on a dedicated page linked from the band, not expanded inline.
