A profile permissions panel listing roles and toggles for what a member can view or edit. Use it where admins grant access across an application.
Permissions opens with a header row that pairs a member avatar and name badge with an "Update Permissions" button, establishing whose access you are editing before anything else. Below that sits a Role Assignment card with a dropdown that lets you pick a predefined role (Administrator, Manager, Editor, Viewer, or Custom). Four permission cards follow in a stacked list, one each for User Management, Organization, Data Access, and System Settings. Each card leads with a category icon and heading, then lays out its individual permissions as a two column checkbox grid. A Recent Access Changes card at the bottom shows a short log of who changed what and when.
All sections are independent. You can add or remove permission categories, rename or reorder the checkbox items within any card, and extend the access log with as many entries as your audit trail requires. The role dropdown values are plain strings, so swapping the preset roles for your own takes a single edit.
Reach for this block on an admin panel or team management screen where one person configures what another member can do. In a real estate marketplace the layout fits wherever a brokerage manager needs to grant agents read or write access to listings, client records, and billing without building a custom form from scratch. It is more detailed than a simple role badge and more focused than a full settings page because it surfaces the individual permission checkboxes alongside the role picker in one view.
A natural flow around it on an Application page:

The block has three distinct areas you can adjust independently:
Tip: pre-check the checkboxes that match the selected role so the form reflects the current state as soon as a manager opens the page.
