A role card paired with a thumbnail of the project you shipped there. Connects each position to concrete work so visitors see outcomes, not just titles.
Card With Project Showcase renders a vertical stack of role cards, one per position. Each card has two zones. The top zone sits on a muted background and carries the job title, company name, date range, a short role description, and a row of technology badges. The bottom zone holds a two-column thumbnail grid labeled "Key Projects," where each project shows a cover image that scales up on hover, a title, a one-line summary, and a ghost button linking out to the project itself.
Every element in a card is independent of the others. You can swap the role copy, change the badge list to reflect any skill set, add or remove project thumbnails, and adjust how many cards appear in the stack without touching the surrounding layout.
This layout fits a portfolio page for someone whose work is best understood through shipped products. It moves beyond a plain list of employers by pairing each position with visual evidence of what was built there, which is useful when a visitor wants to assess not just tenure but output. For an AI assistant product, a developer behind conversation interfaces or model integrations can show the actual surfaces they shipped rather than relying on job titles alone to convey scope.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio page:

Each card is a container for one chapter of a career, so you can fill it with whatever makes that chapter concrete. A few directions:
Tip: keep each project grid to two thumbnails so the card stays compact; visitors can follow the "View Project" link for the full story.
