A testimonial paired with the project it refers to, including a thumbnail and link. Use it to tie praise directly to the work that earned it on a case study.
Quote With Project Context opens with a centered heading and a short subheading, then stacks two testimonial rows below it. Each row is a two-column grid that places a project thumbnail on one side and a blockquote on the other. The thumbnail is a linked card with an aspect-ratio image, an overlay that fades from transparent to dark at the bottom, a category badge, the project name, and a "View Project" prompt. The quote side holds the testimonial text in italics behind a left accent border, then a circular author avatar, the author name, and their role beneath it. Odd and even rows swap the column order so the layout alternates sides down the page.
Each testimonial entry is independent. You can add or remove rows, swap the quote text and author details, replace the project image and name, and update the category badge without touching the heading or any other row. The two-column swap behavior is automatic based on row position, so adding a third or fourth entry just works.
Reach for this block when you want a client quote to land with full context rather than float in isolation. It is the right choice for an AI assistant product portfolio where each shipped feature or product launch has a story behind it and you want potential clients to see the outcome alongside the praise. Compared to a plain quote grid, this layout gives each testimonial room to breathe and ties the endorsement directly to the deliverable that earned it.
A natural flow around it on a Portfolio page:

Each row pairs one finished project with the client voice that speaks to its impact. A few ways to put that frame to work:
Tip: keep each quote to two or three sentences so the testimonial column stays visually balanced with the project thumbnail beside it.
