Excerpt Cards leads with the writing itself: three pieces each opened by a pull-quote blockquote before the metadata appears. The heading sets the frame, The writing, first, and the three excerpts follow the principle: Clarity is not a writing virtue. It is a product decision, Every postponed explanation becomes a reader you lose, and A well-organised draft takes an afternoon to revise. Publication, date, and a read-full link close each card below a divider.
Excerpts are one array; the quote field drives the blockquote. Opening with the argument rather than a title is the distinctive choice: a visitor reads the voice before they read the resume line.
Reach for this block as the writing sample section on a homepage or a dedicated clips page. The installer swaps the three quotes, titles, publications, dates, and hrefs for the pieces that best show their range.

Tip: pick the sentence that captures your actual argument; a quote that sounds like every writer will not differentiate you.
