Hover Grid shows six projects in a three-column layout, each tile carrying a Placeholder thumbnail at aspect-4/3 with an overlay strip at the bottom that names the project and role, rendered permanently in the revealed state so the strip is always visible. Static captions below each tile add the project kind (Fintech dashboard, Health app) and the year so nothing relies on hover alone.
Projects are one array with name, kind, role, and year. The overlay strip is the distinctive detail: it puts the role in the image frame itself, where a viewer reads it before they read anything below.
Reach for this block when the grid of work needs to feel interactive without requiring JavaScript. The installer swaps in their own project images and keeps every role line honest about what they actually did.

Tip: the overlay strip earns its keep only when the role line is specific; Lead product design says more than Design.
